Chan Chun Sing - Govt prepares to pay a high political price

Below are parts of an article in Channel News Asia on what Chan Chun Sing had said at the Institute of Policy Studies forum on Sep 8. If you ask me for my view on it, I will say no comment. But I would like to add the phrase that was often used by the local politicians, 'If it ain't broken, don't fix it', to describe what this govt has been doing most of the time, especially on the appointment of a head of state, the President. It is one thing about fixing things, it is another thing when the fixing is about fixing a symptom and not the cause. And as for the real reason for this fixing of the EP, everyone has his own view on this. I am not sure how many of you agree with Chan Chun Sing, but I am sure many of you don't. Here is the article.

SINGAPORE: It will be a “hard journey” to convince people about the need for changes to the Elected Presidency and the Government will pay a political price but it is prepared to, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office Chan Chun Sing on Friday (Sep Cool.

Speaking at an Institute of Policy Studies forum on the Reserved Presidential Election, Mr Chan stressed that as a young nation, Singapore had to evolve its systems to adapt to its circumstances – not just to meet the “here and now” but also to anticipate and pre-empt challenges that may arise in the future....

“If we are all good politicians, we won’t and we shouldn’t do it,” he said. “No good politician would sacrifice his political capital for a problem that may arise in future generations. Most good politicians in the world would try to preserve their political capital for themselves to manage their current problems.”

“There are many conspiracy theories out there,” he added. “But for every conspiracy theory that is out there, I have a very good answer for you.

“If it has to do with an individual, then there are many other ways,” he said. “And if it is for political gain, then surely we are not achieving it as you have rightly pointed out.”....

“We asked ourselves - PM, do we need to do this now? Because we had anticipated it would be a hard journey to convince people and we would pay the political price, at least in the short term,” said Mr Chan. “PM Lee’s answer will forever be etched in my mind, and that distinguished a politician from a political leader.

“He said 'Yes, we are likely to pay a political price. Yes, we may not have a problem here and now, but what if we have a problem 20 or 30 years from now? Will the fourth, fifth or sixth generation of leaders have the liberty, and the luxury of time and space for them to put in place a system?'” said Mr Chan.

Mr Lee, he added, had taken it upon himself to put in place a system to pre-empt potential issues from arising in the future. “Not for himself, not for his political capital, but always thinking about what this country needs,” he said. “We are prepared to pay the political price, because we think the future of our country is much more important than any political capital that we may have.”....

“We are prepared to pay the political price, . ." That goes for also issues such as the influx of foreigners, water price hike, etc. The PAP had it all calculated, about how many votes they will lose and how many votes they can win back later if they give sweeteners to certain interest groups, eg pioneers, young homestarters, business people, etc to maintain the overall grip on power.

When they have lost all their political capital, the price is bankruptcy.

The original status of an appointed president was the ideal concept for Singapore and would serve the country well, and would have avoided all the problems today. The first fix was bad but sounded reasonable then. The subsequent fixed were just that, bad fixes that only create more problems.

Now the the office of the Presidency is looking more like a joke.

Pappies now trying to make Orchard Road an attraction for Local to spend and more so to attract tourists and visitors to spend.

l say the Whole Lot of Cabinet Members can focus on the Grand Plan to make the Whole of
this Tiny Rock into Orchard Road. However, so long as consumption costs remain high and get higher, locals and tourists have many much better places to go.
Places as near as Johor and Batam,Bintan or Thailand.

Good Luck to the Pappies.

This has turned out to be a case of the more they fixed the more fixes they need to fix the fixes they fixed.

It is like trying to cover a wrong with more wrongs.

It is unending.

We should commend PAP's visionary Leedershit.
So many real problems today, don't want to solve.

But a possibly imaginary problem 20 or 30 years ago.
This deserves all the immediate attention and resources of the government.

Hahahahaha.

Because the Sinkie opposition is not ready to be govt,

so no matter what,

majority Sinkies will continue to vote for PAP and therefore

PAP can well afford to pay the high political price

by making the office of the Presidency looking more like a joke.

Who don't agree, keechiu!

Wat political price is CCS talking about?
It's called Give and Take or vice versa..Ah Chan oredi drilled that from his masters since day one that his body n soul is sold to his master Lee Mah..in fact every Sinkies NS recruit oredi drilled tat in their minds..u win some u lose some ..all NS men knew '胜败乃兵家常识'..or u can do anything but u dun get caught..Ah Chan is applying wat he learnt in the army to politics ..so wat political price..in the end who bear?..it's the majority dafts Sinkies...

it is very very very simple to solve this issue of EP

just needs to revert back from elected to appointed

let the parliament of the day decides which race best be the AP

very very straight forward

no need for election

one stone kills many birds

Worry not worry not CCS!

No political price to pay! No! No! No!

Assure you, you will get what you wished for.

Simple. Singaporeans basically bo-chup bo-chup what the govt is doing!

Singaporeans are very very "kwai"! Yes! Very very "kwai"!

Everyone so busy with 3Ms where to find time to "chup" the issue of EP?

Who be EP also must work very hard in singapore. So why "chup"!

So not to worry! No political price to pay!

Everything will be "swee-swee" as your plan!

All the best!

Can 3Ms why chup who is President?

If u bo lui(no M), even if Tan Cheng Bock is President, u will still be bo lui, tio bo?

So bo lui Sinkies, think of 3M first, and not EP, PAP, SDP or WP.

Wu lui (got M) and got time Sinkies, can come to RB blog to kong song lam par song.

Smart Sinkies know that, that's why they don't want to fight PAP in elections.

Better to 3Ms. And PAP also knows that and CCS can politically afford to say what he said or even be a keechiu joker.

And CCS as a joker also can win one, u know. Like that how to fight PAP and CCS in election?

Then logically speaking, they will not and should not vote PAP, tio bo?

But then how come PAP could win 70% votes in GE 2015? Or maybe only 30% are suffering, the rest got M and got good life?

If so, then not to worry lah, I mean for PAP and keechiu CCS. No wonder PAP and keechiu can afford to talk so arrogant.

Sinkiesland now can be summarized as below:
All of the marvelous educational institutions such as Nus Ntu, the magnificent condos along the seas including the casinos that politicians put together in these showcases to outside political powers, are powerful reminder of ruling power s prowess. But increasingly less cohesiveness in a single group under the present reserved base for political position system, used to be called a name sinkapourean.

In all market competitiveness theories, the reserved base systems are meaningless to well-trained, skilled, patriotic and experienced NS Mens who are well aware the leaders are saying one thing and doing the opposite.
One senior politician promised to have improved laws to strength harmony among the groups of all kinds living on land.

One old man taugth sinkies to appreciate that the reserved base system is a showcase in sinkiesland. The design was founded on weired logic and it s a showcase? One senior enough named the reserved system as a judgement call. So it was wronged and put right? One former foreigner reminded all that "walkover" president "represent all singaporeans". Was there a design to have president not representing all?

On the whole, the explanations did not reply to: is it meaningless to to pledge every day to have pre planned action to happen so vast different from the pledge words?

Reserved systems is pre planned for sinkiesland. There are reserved positions negotiations from time to time: see which groups has the power more than the other.
To have reserved base pm, deputy pm, cabinet reserved, uniform appointments reserved, taxi drivers for (locals and foreigners by color) to showcase to outside world the harmony: the best men and women are for the jobs. Sinkies are ready to pay political price. The leader said.

Huh? Wat price is Kee Chiu talking about? The reserved EP is a high political price? How much the president salary? How much Sinkies going to lose?..maybe nothing or even nothing at all to Ah Long Gor...But ask yourself is Sinkieland got any future? Is Sinkieland going to survive another 10,20...50,100,500,1000,xxxx00 years..may be the true blue born & bred will be totally wipe out or extinct or left only a minute number left ( probably in UN nations archives as an extinct Species called Sinkies..)..and Ah Long will be remembered as the reincarnation of ancient Qin Emperor eunuch Zhao Gao (whose well known of 指鹿为马) ..probably Sinkieland's will be taken over by Indon ( as Ah Long predicted that in times of war with foreign aggressor - maybe Cheena, Sinkies armed forces or air forces need to combined with Indon to fight against the aggressor Cheena)..in so doing Sinkieland will be absorbed into territory of Indon to save itself from aggressor Cheena ( that will be future fate of Sinkieland, preparing for a more aggressive Cheena ..)

If the Presidency becomes a joke, who are the ones that make it become a joke?

The ones who make it becomes a joke are the PAP Leadership and the 81 PAP MPs in the present Parliament.

So, who is the greater joke? The PAP is the GREATER JOKE!

Who voted for the PAP to be in power again and again? The 70% Daft Sinkies.

So, who is the greatest joke? The Daft Sinkies are the GREATEST JOKERS!

They voted in someone who has deliberately planned and implemented policies to screw up their future generations! Very befitting of The Greatest Jokers of the World!

Luckily, I saw all these coming. That is why my six children are all working abroad, together with their families. And I will be Australian Citizen next week.

Good Luck To The 30% who still persevere for so long - some suffering in silence, some kpkb all the time, some busy making money and some simply follow the wind when there is no wind blowing.

His grand children will not recognize him as a related member. There was no regular bonding due to living apart. The children s parents had no choice of languages to study abroad. What these kids reading are history of australia and map of angmor. They do not care what is sinkiesland history and who is their grand father.
Being proud to be an australian is good provided he cares about australia s future and how can he do? Join the australian labor party? It is a joke to be so proud to be an australian yet is not an australian 101 by level.
Still want to be in sinkieland while being australian?

A sensible person will collect the cpf and learn to live alone in australia as an old folk, if the children are really "overseas". It is highly vulnerable to be alone especially farm lands are for production business, normally hardly has close neighbor. Common sense will tell, its a high risk venture when the body is weakening.

This message is written for sinkies and not for this writer. Sinkieland is a place so small that they can influence the politics by voting. In australia, there is no way a migrant can influence national politics. He can only served by local politicians who are angmor and may not be seen at all.
Stop bluffing that emigrating to australia is a prize for winning in politics on sinkieland. That is sinking the head inside sands to feel safe. It is not real but a risk to face. Hope he is not living in farm land dwelling. Its not a joke as farm land is isolated and not like HDB or condos.

Probably I will come back once a month to collect rentals and see to the needs of my tenants. I also have a shop-house in Vietnam and two condo units in Shanghai that I need to take care of for a while. May be I will hand over the property in Vietnam to one of my daughters and I will stay in Shanghai most of the time. There is where the actions are.

My 20-acre farm and the huge house with an artificial lake is being taken care of by my younger brother and his family. So I don't have to worry too much.

Most of my time for the rest of my life will be spent travelling. I have already covered many countries. The next stop will be Argentia, to visit my brother-in-law (my 2nd wife's 1st younger brother) and then to Vancouver, Canada, to visit another brother-in-law (my 2nd wife's 2nd younger brother).

By the way, I have three wives. All three of them are still alive and very active. And I have 12 other siblings; some of them in Europe and China but most are still in Singapore.

I have so many grand children, grand nephews and grand nieces that I have lost count. They are not my concern. They are their parents' responsibilities. Do they recognise my as a related member of the family? I don't know. But I know that when Chinese New Year comes around, they will be wishing me "Happy New Year!" to collect ang pows from me and my wives.

So, I won't be alone. Whoever fear for my loneliness is unfounded.

As for fear of this and that, I leave it to the One In Heaven. He decides my fate - when I die or when I live.

So, a coin does not only have two sides. It has a third side. Do you know a coin has three sides?

A possible scenario is that after Halimah is installed as President in the upcoming reserved presidential election, they would declare the next election as open election, citing that that's what the people want. But by then Halimah already President, Tan Cheng Bock already out!

This inkling comes from what never-served-NS Putucherry said: "... currently, while the definition of racial identity is left ambiguous, the process is clear. “So what you have is a mechanism for the process of selection of candidates to reflect what the community sentiment is,” he said. “The mechanism also leaves it open for someone in the same position to then be accepted at a later time when the sentiment has changed.” He explained further: “The trade-off is that you get the particular individual, having that decision made about them ... if you don’t qualify as being Malay, it is seen as excluding that person. “But that person is still eligible to stand in the open election. And that opportunity to always stand - that will always be a channel. You have the same chances in the open election as anyone else.”

Play Roulette on Electronic spinning machines. NOT table roulette as spinned by Geoupier.

Those you punt on the digits on the Monitor screen individually. Look for Auto spinning wheels turned and rolled automatically for the rolling ball.

Table Roulette erratic and time lapsed in between of punters buying chips and players punting slowly. The Geoupier rolled of ball also becomes erratic. Sometimes, they rolled clockwise and
anti-clock wise. Auto machines rolled one direction.

Auto roll of ball is most of time constant and steady. Look for digits that happened to be HOT numbers. Bank on that few chosen digits. They will be on targets every roll or every few rolls.

The Strength of the Roll of the ball is always constant. You see the Game Wheel of Fortune, the Players gets the same card most of the time they rolled the wheel.

So, on screen where the hot digits used to appear and instinctively you notice that the last drawn number besides is the hot number than bank double or triple on that single digit.

Chances it will be the next winning number. Also see chart of wheel of adjacent numbers next to that supposed winning number and cover a little on them.If the ball does not fell into that winning number, it will most probably dropped into one next to it.

So for a five, they pay you 180. Not bad even you punt about 50 for that roll.

Still win 130.00. If ball hits correct digit, 30 will get you 540.00

Just hit a few time on single digit and you cover all your expenses plus plus plus for your next trip..No need money changers. Time to withdraw winnings and past time Kendo.

Cheers

One more before mr redbean ban my postings.

If the we call goondu or zero that green "0" is not one of the winning number for quite a while, then punt some wager in it.

Also, cover 1,2 together with digit 3 on the line.

The goondu once a while will have the Banker swept all the puntings to cover their overhead.

Zero on target, banked again on it. Don't be surprised it be the same again. Likewise other single digit. This is the trick or tactic for recovering loss.

If digit punt not on target, put double to recover loss and have dividends if on target.

It be on target surely one time and you have plus plus if you double your stakes.

Madness In The Political Leadership of Singapore - Part 19

Madness In Opening The Pandora Box Of The Elected Presidency - Part 1/3

Introduction

There is a wise saying, "When something is not broken, don't fix it". When you fix it while it is working fine, you may be asking for trouble when it does not work any more.

There is another wise saying, "If you tell a lie, you need many other lies to cover it up."

This tweaking of the Constitution to FIX the Elected Presidency go against seasoned, evergreen wisdoms, and therefore. led to the opening of the Pandora's Box.

Points To Ponder

1. In order to absolve themselves from having to admit that a serious mistake has been made, the over-confident paper generals, in their predictable manner, tried to explain the problem away by rubbing a crystal ball to look into the FUTURE 20 to 30 years from now. Nostradamus?

2. Can't even foresee that it was Donald Trump, not Hillary Clinton, who became the 45th President of USA, and screwed up the opportunity on China's Belt and Road Initiative by punching above the weight of a mosquito, yet want bluff people that they can see into the FUTURE 20 to 30 years from now?

3. With this latest "Talk Cock Like Sing Song" display, it is the last straw many people can take! If they had just talked cock, it wouldn't be too bad. Now, from the horse's mouth, we know they actually deliberated on the matter and intentionally planned to screw up the FUTURE Generations.

4. They must have foreseen that the way things are going, PAP could collapse very soon and things will not be the same again. So, they purposely took the troubles to tweak the Constitution and implemented the Racist Reserved Presidential Elections.

5. After tweaking the Constitution, they had to make a second tweak in order to circumvent the Racial identity of Halimah Yacob, whom they have already selected in advance (Chan Chun Seng let the cat out of the bag when he mentioned "Madam President" not once but twice in Parliament when he addressed the House Speaker Halimah Yacob). She was identified and recognised publicly and widely as an Indian when she contested for her minority MP seat as part of the GRC and as the Speaker of the House. So, instead of using the legal document called the Identity Card to recognise a person's race, they coughed out "any Muslim who is accepted by the Malay Community" as an avenue where an Indian Muslim can also be recognised as a Malay Muslim.

6. For all these years, since the British days, there has never been a problem in recognising a person's Race on the basis of what has been stated in an individual's birth certificate and identity. The change in definition as to who constitute a Malay has led to a subjective judgement instead of an objective one. It is now dependent upon sentiment instead of the person's blood, descending from the father's sperm and DNA, and legally recognised all over the world.

7. It also left much to be desired because it did not define what constitute a Malay Community. There are many Malay Communities. For example, Ali bin Abdullah (both parents are Malay) may be recognised as Malay by his own Malay Community in Kampong Eunos because he has been raised in Kampong Eunos; Abedin bin Mohammed Subramaniam (father Malay, mother Chinese) may be recognised as Malay from his Jurong West Malay Community as he has been staying there for the last 20 years; and Harimau d/o Yaya (father Indian, mother Malay) may have her own Malay Community in Yishu that accepts her as a Malay because she stays in Yishun since 5 years old. So, which Malay Community has the final say and among who in a particular Malay Community has the authority to certify that that person is a Malay? The Village Headman, the RC President, or the MP from that Constituency?

Leong Sze Hian (turning 64 in November) said he received a letter from CPF telling him that if they did not hear anything from him, his CPF payouts will be deferred to age 70 !

http://www.tremeritus.com/2017/09/07/cpf-no-action-is-required-if-you-wish-to-start-your-payouts-at-age-70*/

Why are they trying so many ways to delay returning us our CPF savings?

Madness In Opening The Pandora Box Of The Elected Presidency - Part 2/3

8. Besides, who is the FINAL Authority to confirm that a candidate is "accepted by the Malay Community" as a Malay? A special committee formed to do that? Under the supervision of the Elections Department, which is directly under the PMO? How are this committee's decisions to be made? By personal feelings, sentiments or throw dice?

9. The counting of who should be the first Elected President is the third tweaking to the Constitution by deliberately interpreting that the count should start from President Wee Kim Wee instead of President Ong Teng Cheong. Nobody would have even dreamt that President Wee Kim Wee was the first elected president until we shockingly heard it from the proceedings in the Parliament in February this year. You go around and ask any commoner on the ground who is the first elected president, you will get the same answer that President Ong Teng Cheong is the one. Moreover, in school text books, in letters and other historical records of previous PMs and Ministers' speeches, it has been stated quite clearly that President Ong Teng Cheong was the first elected president. So, how can all of a sudden President Wee Kim Wee become the first elected president when he was clearly a nominate president by Parliament, a ceremonial president, when he took office? To circumvent this illogical selection, someone coughed out an excuse that President Wee Kim Wee had exercised the powers of an elected president, therefore he can be considered as an elected president. Exercising the powers and actually having the mandate of power are totally two different things. An acting President can also exercise the powers of a President, but that does not mean he is an elected President.

10. The worst ramification to this controversial Racist Erected (not Elected) Presidency is the destruction of the adoption and practice of the pillar of Meritocracy in every respects. If one really cares for the Malay, there are many ways of going about helping them to excel to the very top. One of the ways is to simply revert to the old system of nominating a Malay to be President. Another way is to groom a number of them to become qualified to hold such a position. Everyone knows, with the latest amendments to the Constitution, that the powers of the Elected President has been curtailed to such an extent that he looks more like a puppet being pulled by the strings held by the Presidential Advisory Council, than an effective independent Elected President in his own right. Many of his powers have been erased and more restrictions imposed upon his potential actions that may go against the Executive Branch. In addition, the enhancement of the powers of the Presidential Advisory Council makes it more powerful than the Elected President - the PAC controls rather than advise the President.
Moreover, now they make the Parliament the Ultimate Power that can over-rule any Presidential decision. Previously, the Nominated President's decision is final. Now, the Elected President's decision is subordinated to Parliamentary Proceedings in which the Prime Minister holds the Absolute Arbitration. Therefore, Parliament is the Supreme Power, not the Elected President. As such, why not just revert back to the Nominated Presidency?

11. Even LKY had failed to see what his "Two-Is-Enough" Family Decimation Policy would have done to Singapore when it was implemented in 1972. As a result, the need to import millions of foreign trash to come and upset the infrastructures, to compete for jobs across all levels, to rob Singaporeans' rice bowls, and to take up so much of the limited space, thereby causing rapid rise in prices of properties, goods and services, taxes and other social ills to Singapore and Singaporeans. Yet these paper generals are trying to tell us that they are better than the Old Guards?

To continue ....

Madness In Opening The Pandora Box Of The Elected Presidency - Part 3/3

12. It is very divisive. Giving priority to any particular race for whatever reasons, is going against the conviction and commitment to the National Pledge of "Regardless of Race" and "One United People". This National Pledge has been ingrained into the psyche of all our citizens (minus the new citizens) from the age of five or six. It has been repeatedly said like a mantra by every student, every soldier, every policeman, every civil servant, every citizen, every minister and every political party in Singapore repeat with conviction during every National Day, every Armed Forces Day and every Other Days, believing that we are One People, One Nation. This has helped to build up the social fabrics of a harmonious, peaceful and united people. With the introduction of race as a determinant to show favour, rather than merits, it has rocked the foundation of harmony, peace and unity, the hardworks of everybody over the last 52 years of nation-building.

13. Nobody can even try to forecast when one is going to die, yet we are to believe that these paper generals are able to see into the future 20 or 30 years from now? When CANCER strikes again, I think it is better to prepare for the will and ensure that the children won't quarrel over it, then to worry about the future of Singapore. Most probably, Singapore may rejoin Malaysia or become part of Indonesia, India, China, or USA in 20 years' time. Who knows?

14. Last but not least, there are so many urgent and serious problems today that need solving, all mostly caused by the problems accumulated over the last 15 years. And each time LHL said he is helping the people, it landed up the people had to pay more and more. He can't even solve the present problems now, yet wants us to believe that he can solve the problems that will arise 20 to 30 yeas from now? Are the daft Sinkies really that daft? This is called, "Taking the Voters For Granted!"

Conclusion

1. The more power the elites get, the more crazy they become. They even try to think like a God who is All-Knowing, Omniscient!

2. The moment they showed their absolute arrogance to take voters for granted, that is where the downfall will come, and come it definitely would, fast and furious. Just watch .....

3. Moral of the sad story: The more the self-serving elites say they are doing something for people, the more the people suffer.

4. Be wise. Be prepared for the WORST!

5. WAKE UP!

6. KNNBCCB ...... #$%^^$@!#$$%*........

Be it the Stop At Two by the Late Monster, the Definition Of First Elected President Of Sin and the Definition Of Malay, it was and are the DELIBERATE AND ARBITRARY DECISION AND DEFINITIONS OF THOSE IN POWER.
NONE OF THE DECISION AND DEFINITION WAS ACCEPTED AS A WHOLE BY THE PEOPLE.
IN FACT, THEY GENERATE MUCH CONTROVERSIES AND UNHAPPINESS.

What good do the Rulers see in their doings?

Actually all of u guys here have misread & misunderstood what Chan Chun Sing & his real intention. He is worried bout this country & the people & not the white lightning party. Without the pen of a EP ( be it reserved or not), this Emperor Lee edict need another one to countersign so that monies or monies in reserves can be dispense to its people ( as subsidies or grant) & government agencies expenses to feed. If u have a rogue EP working with the Leegime or vice versa, it will create havoc to govt agencies & needy people of Sinkies , so years down the road the future generations Sinkies will have more problems accumulated ( maybe this wat Emperor Long worried & this etched into Ah Chan mind)... getting a 'favoured' EP will make the job ez for the PM & future PM of Sinkies without having to answer many questions when a cheque is handover to the EP to countersign & monies or reserves can be dispense readily in times of need ..

Most of the Pappies would have gone to visit their Late Chief and some would have retired, 'run-road'/migrated or sacked liked Georgie Boy and his Team Mates at Aljunied GRC.

Hate to say this, however,
Anon 9:57 pm appears to be be as clever as the Pappies in saying what he did.

However,
by then it shall

Most will live in
regrets and remorse.

Not a single Pappies has hold themselves responsible and accountable for his and her mistakes, lapses and oversights.
Their subordinates and sometimes cronies were made scapegoats and punished with minimum punishments.
Some were convicted decades after they surrendered themselves as was in the Case of Phey Yew Kok and Teh Chiang Wan who killed himself as he was not remanded.

It had been wayang since Sin was given to the Locals to run on behalf of the Former Colonial Master who is beholden to the US after its'(the British) empire withered.

Fuck the Sinners.

What anon 9.57pm wrote is partly correct. Read what Lao Goh said about the new reserved EP..he said is to prevent future terrorists attacking Sinkieland & the aftermath of a racist fighting amongst all races:

http://www.theindependent.sg/goh-chok-tong-acknowledges-that-reserved-pe-is-unpopular-but-claims-its-necessary-for-race-relations-in-view-of-terrorist-threats/

Maybe tis wat Kee Chio worried bout this tiny red dot , many Sinkies had left the island, majority emigrated to OZland

Do you think Kee Chio was only worried that he may be promoted to become Speaker of Parliament?

Do you think Chuan Jinx is now only worried that he will not be promoted to President after Harimau.

@Anon 11.03am

Both r only worried being 'shown the door' by their Master Loony. Do u think these 2 buggers worries bout Sinkies lives ?

Anon @ September 10, 2017 7:56 am appears to be more daft than the daft Sinkies. He swallowed Lau Goh's words lock, stock and barrel. Got brain but cannot think. No wonder PAP gets voted into power all the time. Sinkieland is really pathetic and tragic!

Just because Lau Goh psycho the daft Sinkies saying you are losers and quitters, many believers stay back and die for his words.

Please wake up and think how many PAPies Ministers/MPs sons and daughters and their kins now in Sinking Land waiting for the House to burn down.

You are living in the Korean Joseon Period where a slave including his whole family remains as slaves as controlled by the Nobles.

Little do they know that those who migrated are the Ones with means.

Only daft Sinkie slaves remained to be directed by the SINKIE nobles to die for them.

Think they will stat in Sinking Land for you when Sinki land is invaded.

What's Lau Goh's talking cock of SINKIE land been terrorised just because there is no Malay President.

It's that wrong policies that is attracting the Terrorists to attack SINKIE land.

They made your lives miaerable by their mistakes and now have a bogeyman to frighten you.

Typical pathetic stupid robotic parrots! Stupidity really has no cure!

Just to name a few:

1. I have fought since a young boy at age of 15, younger than Amos Yee. I joined the PAP in 1959 to struggle for independence from the British during those early days.

2. When Lim Chin Siong was played out, we formed the Barisan Socialis. Again I was pioneer member of the second and largest Opposition Party.

3. I was founder member of Singapore Democratic Party together with Chiam. We fought and won a few seats in Parliament. After Dr Chee took over, it was all down-hill until today.

4. I was the first secretary of the first Resident Committee formed in 1974, together with my friend from SID as the chairman. We had to come out our own money to sustain the RC and we ourselves went on rounds every night on rotation to make sure the old folks were not robbed in the lifts at night, amongst other things.

5. Again, I was founder member of the Singapore First Party.

6. I was there in the soaking heavy rain during the First National Parade on the Padang when our First President, The Yang Di Pertuan Agong, Inch Yusoff bin Ishak and our First Prime Minister, Mr Lee Kuan Yew, reviewed us!

7. I was amongst the first to have started computerisation and information technology in the government ministries, one by one. We went through all the teething problems. We were the earliest to be in the office and the latest to go home late after midnight, sometimes never go home because we were too tired and exhausted.

8. Though I was not required to serve National Service, I volunteered and became amongst the First Batch of NS men to be conscripted. I serve my NS term until the age of 60 when I received a letter of thanks and appreciation.

9. I burnt my weekends during my young days to assist a few churches to distribute foods, hampers and money to those extremely poor and visited the hospitals to see the unwanted and discarded sick people. Sometimes, helping them to clean up the place and bathe for them.

10. Last but not least, I am thinking of supporting Lim Tean in his Freedom Movement to help him struggle on against all odds. In fact, my group of people have all the time been struggling against all odds, against he biggest political machinery that has its tentacles everywhere, every hour, every facets of society, to fight for the weak and defenseless, and injustice. I may become an Australian citizen but my heart is still in Singapore. You only become a quitter when you are out of sight, out of mind and out of heart!

Now that I am old, it is about time for me to go and enjoy my golden years. I take on Australian citizenship so that on the one hand I can enjoy free medical services, and on the other I can withdraw all my CPF money, without having to pay for the annual ever-increasing compulsory life-long insurance, that is actually a disguise to deplete all your savings in your CPF Medisave Account. What Quitters are you talking about?

Lau Goh can't even handle his own wife and his own daughter, who was amongst the first quitters. What about they come on the opposite side and stay to fight until my age? Of course, they can talk big because they are having all the power and wealth that the daft Sinkies like you willing to vote them in year after year. Go and ask him where is the Swiss Standard of Living for the people?

Where were all of you? What are you all doing now? Have you all done anything for Singapore or Singaporeans? If you have done nothing for Singapore or Singaporeans, please shut your gaps, because you only show how ignorant and stupid you are!

YOU ARE THE REAL LOSERS AND EMPTY VESSELS WITH NO COMPUNCTION!

Just curious, who was that SID Chairman you were with?

Mr RB, if I am not wrong, he should be Mr.Foong Siew Wah - Director of SIB.

A regular and earnest contributor to Temasek Review.

Think now residing in Malaysia.

Those in the know especially those in the civil service top echelon after retirement and with a conscience will criticise the PAPies of their ahem ahem, cough cough.

That's why daft Sinkies too afraid that the Opposition become Government, no capable people will run the show.

There are many conscience stricken capable civil servants who are the Ones actually running the show for which the PAPies took credits are waiting to serve and.be counted in the case the Opposition took over. They are bound now by the OSA and what's Regulations that kept their mouths mum. Many are bursting with emotions to let go once the Oppposition become the Government.

DONT think that Singapore can survive without the Papies.

Cheers

Don't think that Singapore CANNOT survive without the PAPies instead of survive.
