How stupid has Singapore become?

Just read this, two opening paragraph from a post by a blogger called, ‘silence is NOT golden’  in TRE title ‘Call me xenophobic, I don’t care’.

‘I am sick and tired of foreigners coming to Singapore and giving Singapore Government advice to raise prices of essential goods and services without any consideration the economic and social impact their advice would have on the average Singaporeans who are not earning as much as they are.

One case in point: Asit Biswas (visiting professor of the LKY School of Public Policy from India). According to him, “if he had his way, he would increase water prices here by 30 per cent immediately.” (Straitstimes, March 21, 2016). In his view, “water prices should have been increased a long time ago” because “Singaporeans now use water profligately for all household chores, as well as for bathing and hygienic purposes”. Does he expect us to use water from the river for our household chores, as well as for bathing and hygienic purposes like they do in India? Biswas said “he and his wife are “seriously considering” becoming Singapore permanent residents”. Really? Just Singapore PR? Not Singapore citizens?’

How stupid can Singapore be, after building a third world country to become a first world city, the envy of the world, it starts to disbelieve in Singaporeans and everyday go around the world, no, go to third world countries, to hire people that could not do anything good to their sham and slum infested countries, to come here and teach us how to run our country to make it better? If these people are that good, their countries would not be such a shambolic state and a shame to talk about

No need to say anything more. The stupid will always go and ask the stupid for help. Look at the Americans, they used to come here for advice when they know they could get good advice. Now they would not bother. The Chinese used to come here to learn from us. Now they too don’t bother. We taught them how to build little housing estates and industrial parks. Now they are building the world, building the longest bridge, the longest road, the biggest train network across continents, building ships, aircraft, satellites, rockets, and becoming one of the top industrial countries and economies in the world.

Rb, seriously the Indians are TOP in the IT and financial world. It's so ironic I was reading a post in one of the TOP financial blog and they asked experts of the financial community about Brexit. Out of the 10, 8 are Indians working for the TOP financial institutions. If u watch cnbc or Bloomberg most of the interviews of financial experts are Indians. So u tell me lar they first world or third world or big bullshiters

Tell this adviser from India to sort out the building of more toilets at home.
Tell this same guy to improve the trains and rail-tracks that were leftovers from colonial days.
Tell this theorist to charge freeloaders who ride on train-tops and hangers-on the sides of trains. BTW they should thank the British who built durable stuff and the widest tracks for any railways in the world.
And tell his country to provide piped water first before he talks third world in a first world.
No wonder the rich and powerful in his homeland treat the poor or lowly people the way they do. [I need not elaborate.]

"We taught them how to build little housing estates and industrial parks. "
RB do not exaggerate Singapore s ability. Made the chinese laugh. The China Imperial palace has no central pillars. Singapore learned this kind of building method in modern times. The China men could do it hundreds years ago.

The India Professor is a wise man. Raise water prices by 30% is too little. He might want to raise it to 1300% to let the old man s institution/foundation to have more funds to pay him to come here to enjoy.

Indians had innovative idea on drinking water. There was a real indian prime minister openly asked people to drink urine.
Hear me? Drink urine can save lots of money, that is the Indian way. Then water prices can be sold high because it is government s products, not Malaysians cheap water.

Go away! Go away! Go away! Go away!

Inviting all these "expensive" and so-called experts to come here and
to talk cocks and sing songs.....a total waste of money and time!

What do they know about the social and day-to-day life here!

You must be one of us to be able to understand the life here!

Don't come here! Don't come here!

Go away! Go away! Go away! Go away!

Hi Anon 9:08,
I must agree with you that the Indians are taking over the banking and finance industry as well as IT in the West. While the Europeans went East and West hunting for Indian curry and spices, the Indians are going West to colonise them without them knowing. The Indians are taking over the West.

The Indians have done exceptionally well in these two industries. Not sure what they could do in infrastructure building and managing modern cities.

They have no experience in managing modern city states but our fools could not see that. They are going to them for expert advice in managing modern city when, sorry to say this, there is not a single modern city in India. And expert advice in train management and irrigations! My gosh!

Maybe it's not Singapore that is stupid?
Maybe it's the PAP Prime Minister and PAP Ministers that are stupid?

Maybe it's also the Singaporeans that are stupid?
Did 70% of Singaporeans voted for the stupid PAP Prime Minister and PAP Ministers to turn Singapore into a 3rd World country?

Iceland's New President Has Never Been A Politician
(Iceland population = 0.3 million)

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-06-28/wake-call-america-icelands-new-president-has-never-been-politician
------------------------------

With admiration, many have been observing Iceland’s handling of the banking crisis that jolted the entire world in recent years.
Now experiencing a unique economic recovery, the Icelandic public became aware in 2008 that the nation’s private banks had borrowed some $120 billion dollars, ten times the size of Iceland’s economy, creating an economic bubble which forced housing prices to double, and saddled the nation’s people with debt.

While other Western nations initiated bank bailouts in 2008, a popular uprising in Iceland led to a peaceful revolution against corrupt government and banks, and has since become the example for the global movement for liberation from central banking and unaccountable government.

“In the duration of five months, the main bank of Iceland was nationalized, government officials were forced to resign, the old government was liquidated, and a new government was put in its place.”

The resolve of Iceland’s people to correct the systemic problems in their government and economy was again demonstrated in 2015 when dozens of high-level financial executives were jailed for their involvement in manipulating Iceland’s financial markets after financial deregulation in 2001.

“After Iceland suffered a heavy hit in the 2008-2009 financial crisis, which famously resulted in convictions and jail terms for a number of top banking executives, the IMF now says the country has managed to achieve economic recovery
—“without compromising its welfare model,” which includes universal healthcare and education.

In fact, Iceland is on track to become the first European country that suffered in the financial meltdown to “surpass its pre-crisis peak of economic output”—essentially proving to the U.S. that bailing out “too big to fail” banks wasn’t the way to go.” – Claire Bernish

Iceland
- A real example of a country punching above it's weight.
- population @ 330,000 i.e. 0.3 million

And they have a football team (no imported PRC talents) that is in the Euro 2016 finals.
- after defeating Austria and England

Amazing what a small country can do.
When they vote out all their useless and incompetent politicians.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Nigel Farage said that the referendum for the UK to leave the European Union wasn't decided by economic arguments.

"It was decided by a basic argument of sovereignty," he said. "Should we make our own laws in our own country, and crucially, should we control our own borders?"

He said that the UK's population was rising by half a million people every year just because of the EU's open border policy.

What about Singapore's population increase?
Isn't it time to vote Opposition?

The state of the UK in the EU is like the fate of Singaporeans being ruled by the garment. Watch the movie and you can easily related to the experience of the UK and the laws and taxes imposed on the Brits.

From 16 stores to zero.
Due to high RENTAL.
High rental is a pap policy proping up property prices with population sudden increase by 2 millions. Some experts call population ponzi.

Lots of vacant shops units. Lots of visitors and tourists with empty shops? What singapore sells? It s too late, even voting for opposition cannot cure the chronic cancer of economy.

"The shop’s founder Elim Chew told Mediacorp in an exclusive interview that her decision to close the shop was mainly because of high rentals.

"Well, you know, the dream during that time was to open up to 24 or 30 outlets all around Singapore. The rental was then affordable. But as the rental became higher and higher and higher, we find that we're just working for the landlord to pay off the rental,” she said.

“When I first started, (the rental rate) was S$9 per square foot, today it's S$35 per square foot. So, you know, we decided that we shouldn't embark into opening more shops."

What is Singapore selling?
- Hot air lah.

Hot air from Transport Minister about MRT.
Hot air from SMRT CEO about safety.
Hot air from Health Minister about hospital safety and tuberculosis
Hot air from NEA about rats and mosquitoes
Hot air from PAP Town Councils about lift safety.

And now hot air from vacant retail outlets.

Do you think PAP Millionaires are only good for collecting more money from Singaporeans?
And paying themselves million dollar salaries from the tax collections?

India has no lessons to give any country , as their own country is a mess , and still living on the infrastructure build by the British .
Also Indians educational qualifications are not accepted in the Western world due to cheating . India is one of the most overpopulated and polluted countries on the planet , and should sort out its overpopulation before there are food and water problems due to global warming .
Other countries of the world should punish India and China for polluting their rivers , which flows into and pollutes the oceans .
Neither country is an example to follow , with excessive population , massive pollution , and unable to provide enough food and water for its population .
Also Singapore is no example , in a decade it has become an overpopulated country , is no longer green and clean , and is unable to provide food and water to its population without polluting massively , and has not used its wealth to do fundamental research , just try and make more money . Also the rapid increase in population without investment in infrastructure has been shown by the number of problems on the roads and public transport
