US China relationship, a changing balance
The ex CIA agent seek protection in Hongkong/China from the Americans has become the next most famous case after Julian Assange to thumb his nose at the empire. The Americans are furious and demanded for more information and the whereabouts of Edward Snowden from China. They are applying to extradite Snowden from Hongkong to the US. Would it happen? Or would China squeeze the Americans by the balls, as had the Americans did it to China for decades and in so many cases in the past?
China has responded to the Americans by claiming ignorance. They did not know of Snowden’s whereabout or anything that Snowden has leaked. Is this not familiar? This is the exact reply and position taken by the Americans whenever there is a dissident hiding in the US or helped by the US to escape to the West. The Americans would simply answer, ‘We don’t know’. So China is learning from the Americans, ‘We don’t know.’
The strange thing is that an American now feels that China is a place he can feel safe from the clutches of USA, the evil empire. Before this event, the safe heaven is always North America. And dissidents escaped from everywhere, from China, to be safe in America.
Would there be more western dissidents seeking solace, comfort and safety in China? Heheheh. The wind is changing direction.
And oooooohhhh, Edward Snowden has disclosed that the Americans have been hacking into China and Hongkong since 2009. And the Americans are accusing the Chinese of hacking into American institutions as if the Americans were all so innocent. Tsk, tsk, tsk….And perhaps Obama was so happy to use this incident to pressure Xi or to embarrass him in the recent visit. Perhaps Xi is now on the hot line to Obama asking him if he cares to explain.

It was reported that Edward Snowden did not even complete High school, let alone being a university graduate. But he was an IT wiz that created the big news and events of great impact, although negatively!
Now I am beginning to realise there may be some truths about what some Sinkie ministers said about having a degree is no big deal.
So opposition parties, there is hope. Get more no degree Sinkies to join to create great impact, but not negatively of course.
Who knows, maybe a Sinkie with no degree may even make a better PM in future.
The Chinese are cracking joke on this snowden gate.
If Snowden is a Chinese, he will get a Nobel prize nomination this year.
His heroic act will be made into Hollywood movie, and he will be making big bucks selling his stories to all newspaper.
This world is full of bullshits and liars.
Ya man. The Hongkies should put up a recommendation for Snowden for the Nobel Prize and also make a movie for him. Not a bad idea.
Ed Snowden is a hero in America, at least amongst the "freedom lovers".
He is not fighting against America. He is fighting against the US Federal Government, which clearly violated the US Constitution.
The 4th amendment to the US Constitution, and in the Bill Of Rights deals with search and seizure, and the government has clearly violated that LAW, and got caught by a 29 yr old whistle blower.
The 4th Amendment states clearly that the government (and its officers and agencies) has to have probable cause, and then judicial sanction -- e.g. search warrant -- before they can engage in searches and seizures.
You don't have to be a legal genius to know that this is basic "fair play" and the authority who abuses their power in this area is clearly not fit to govern, can't be trusted and is a bullying asshole -- using their power and resources to shit on innocent parties. Sure they might catch a few "bad guys" in the process, but that is a weak argument, and it breaks established law.
In other cuntrees, no such laws exist, and forget about anything even closely resembling a "bill of rights" to protect the individual. In those cuntrees, it is perfectly OK the government to shit on the rights of the people, because the people don't have any rights, and they're not prepared to go out and fight their government for those rights, so fuck them -- they get the government they deserve.
In America however, they make a big deal about their Bill Of Rights, which every citizen is duty bound to defend, but alas, most don't care. So once in awhile you get an Edward Snowden who is willing to step-up -- essentially ONE MAN against The Government.
In China, things are not so different. Bloggers criticising the government have been arrested. The government has a love-hate relationship with microblogger (like Twitter) Weibo. China censors the net and monitors citizens, and makes no apologies or excuses for doing so. They are allowed to do it -- legally. People hate it, but the government doesn't give a shit whether people like it or not. They are the law, and that's that.
Perhaps they are devising how to combine efforts together to screw the rest of the world...
